The Lancers defeated the Lawrence Lions by winning their first and last two sets on Tuesday, Sept. 24. In the first set, the Lancers won 25 – 20. The Lancers fell in the second set 12 – 25. SM East came back winning the third and fourth sets, 25 – 18 and 25 – 22. To conclude, Lancers defeated the Lions 3 – 1.
The next girls varsity match is Saturday, Sept. 28, against Louisburg High School at 8 a.m. at Louisburg High School.
