Gallery: Varsity Girls Swim Places Second at Olathe Invitational Meet

The Varsity girls swim team competed at Summit Trail Middle School in one of the largest meets of the season on Saturday, April 2. East ended with a score of 307, only 30 points behind Blue Valley West. Second place winner at Lawrence Free State Ella Howard, states "It was important because we got to swim against teams that we usually wouldn't get to swim against until state. I think it was a good opportunity to see where we were with our skills and we tried very hard during afterschool practices." The next Varsity swim meet will take place at Shawnee Mission Aquatic Center on Wednesday, April 6.
