The Lancers fell to the Lawrence Lions on Friday, Sept. 13, 30-7. While the game began Thursday night at 7, it was quickly cancelled due to lightning with 5:29 left in the first quarter and rescheduled to the next day at 3. The Lions scored a touchdown every quarter and intercepted senior Ryan Bolin four times. After an altercation in week one, starting running back, senior Tony Friends, was suspended for this game resulting in senior Cole Long starting. The lancers, now 0-2, are facing the Olathe Northwest Ravens, who are also 0-2, Thursday, Sept. 19.
