The Lancers took home a win on Friday night, defeating the Raiders with a final score of 14-6. During the first quarter, both teams did not manage to score, but during the second quarter, the Raiders made a 38 yard field goal. After the first half of the game, senior Tony Friends ran 69 yards, then proceeded to scored a touchdown, making the score 7-3. Friends had 269 rushing yards during Fridays game. Shawnee Mission South then scored a field goal making the score 7-6, and the last touchdown was scored by senior Cole Long, who received an 8 yard pass from senior Ryan Bolin.
