Gallery: Varsity Football Defeats Olathe North 39-34

The Lancers defeated the Olathe North Eagles 39-34 during their homecoming game on Friday, Sept. 27. The Lancers held their lead for the entire game with touchdowns from both teams. By the end of the first half, the Lancers were ahead of the Eagles 33-21. Junior Jack Reeves had three rushing touchdowns and senior Chris Beikmann had a 52-yard receiving touchdown. Also, two fields goal were made by senior Calvin Duske to secure the lead between the Eagles. The Lancers now sport a 3-1 record and the Eagles' record now stands at 1-3. 

The Lancers are scheduled to play their next game on Friday, Oct. 4 against Gardner Edgerton at 7 p.m. at Gardener Edgerton High School.

Going into her second year on staff, Junior Annie Trenkle is a photographer for the Harbinger. Outside of taking photos she is a part of the IB program and her favorite class in school is AP Physics. Annie’s outside of school activities include soccer, tennis, and basketball. She is also the chair of Harvesters Give Lunch and Wayside Waifs SHARE organizations. However, she can also be found doing the things she loves most which is traveling, shopping, and spending time with family and friends. »

Head Photo Editor senior Caroline Martucci can’t wait to lead the photography staff for her fourth year on staff. When she's not looking through her wide lens capturing the moment, editing galleries or designing photostories in the J room, you can find her driving around with her friends listening to Taylor Swift. Martucci also serves as Senior Class Vice President, chairs three projects for SHARE and serves on the Women in Leadership Council. »
