Gallery: Varsity Boys Basketball Falls to Mill Valley 57-48

The boys varsity basketball team fell to the Mill Valley Jaguars at their sweetheart game that was held at SM East 57-48 on Feb. 10. Ending the first quarter, the Lancers were down 13-5. At halftime, the Lancers were down 27-20 and the sweetheart royalty was announced during the break. Throughout the third quarter, the Jaguars maintained their lead, with the score being 34-31 at the end in favor of the Jaguars. With a minute left in the fourth quarter the score was 53-45, ending the game with the Lancers and the Jaguars scoring a few more points for their teams. The boys varsity basketball team’s record is now 7-9.

The next boys varsity game will be on Tuesday, Feb. 14 vs Lawrence Free State at Lawrence Free State High School at 7:00 p.m.
