Gallery: Track and Field Varsity Quad wins overall against Shawnee Mission Schools

SM East’s Varsity Track and Field Team competed against other Shawnee Mission Schools in their first meet of the 2022 season on Friday, March 25 at Shawnee Mission East. The boys team won by 30 points, and the girls team won by 20 points overall. The schools in the event included Blue Valley Southwest, Shawnee Mission North, and Shawnee Mission West.

Track and Field’s next event will be a JV meet on Thursday, March 31 at SME.

When he isn’t in the J room editing a video or trying to find some tripod piece, Mason is running as a varsity track and cross country runner and is in five AP classes. When things finally slow down, Mason likes to spend his free time with his friends or just hang out at home. »

Clara Peters

Clara Peters
Senior Clara Peters is so excited for her fourth year on the Harbinger staff as a Head Print Photo Editor. When she’s not editing photos, designing photostories, or holding her camera, you’ll find her hanging out with friends, walking her dogs or listening to music. Outside of Harbinger, she holds the roles of a SHARE Exec and Link Leader. Peters can’t wait to lead this year’s photography staff with the other editors! »

Lydia Coe

Lydia Coe
Senior Lydia Coe is entering her second semester on staff as a photographer, and is excited to apply her new skills that she has learned in Dallas. Some other things Lydia is a part of are SHARE, DECA, National Honors Society, National Charity League and one of the new managers of East’s coffee shop, Columbia Brew. In her free time, you would catch her nannying, hanging out with friends, listening to music, going on walks or hosting at the South Plaza Mission Taco Joint. Lydia is very excited to see what this new semester holds. »

MJ Wolf

MJ Wolf
Senior Mj Wolf is so excited to start her sixth semester on staff as a photographer. In addition to Harbinger, Mj is one of the SHARE chairs on the Breast Cancer Awareness Bake Sale and Unleashed projects. When she isn’t shooting galleries, you’ll find her watching movies with friends, cooking with family or trying a new coffee shop. Mj can’t wait to see what this year brings and is pumped to capture her senior year. »
