The SME theatre department held their first fundraiser of the year on Friday, Aug. 23 at 3 p.m. in the senior parking lot. Theatre students washed cars to help fund the SME theatre program. "The theater car wash is always such a great way for the freshmen to start getting involved," sophomore Gretchen Anast said. "We had an amazing turnout this year, especially with the freshmen, and even had alumni Ian Flynn stop by to get his car washed and say hi."
The first theatre performance of the year will be the Musical Revue, which will take place on Sept. 10 at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium.

Going into her fourth semester on the Harbinger staff, junior Francesca Lorusso is delighted to start as an art editor, photo mentor and page designer. When she isn’t struggling to write a coherent caption for a gallery or losing sleep over making someone’s page art, she is helping to plan an International club meeting, making costumes for a play or musical, or trying to perfect an AP Art project. »
