Gallery: SME Boys Dive Invitational

Senior Grant Kimmel and sophomore Graham Delzer competed in the SM East Dive Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 31. There were 28 divers competing from 12 high schools. In the prelims Kimmel placed fifth and Delzer placed fourth. After the semifinals ended, Delzer placed fifth and Kimmel placed third. In the end Grant Kimmel placed fourth in the meet scoring 416.30 and Graham placed fifth scoring 402.65. Both Kimmell and Delzer have qualified for state in six dives.

The boys dive team will have prelims for the Sunflower League meet on Thursday, Feb. 5 at the Shawnee Mission Aquatic Center.
