Gallery: SM East Boys Varsity Tennis Wins Quad 11-1

Varsity boys tennis won the District Tournament at Harmon park with 39 total points on April 8. Two members of the varsity team competed in singles, while the remainder played doubles at SM Northwest. Sophomore Christopher Long went 4-0 in Singles 1, and freshman Miles Broce went 3-1. The District meet consisted of players from SM North, SM West, SM Northwest, SM South and SM East. The varsity team’s next competition will be on April 10 at Baldwin High School.

Outside of taking photos, Annie plays tennis, basketball and soccer for Shawnee Mission East. Other than sports and photography, Annie loves school, her friends and her family. »
