Gallery: Signing Day

On Wednesday, March 10, 13 seniors participated in a signing day to celebrate their continuation of their athletics in college in the main gym. The signees included seniors: Will Wynn (Rockhurst University: Lacrosse), Caroline Coleman (Pepperdine University: Soccer), Lee Marshall (Baker University: Football), Hanna Robinett (University of Tulsa: Golf), Hudson Mosher (Depauw University: Tennis), Mia Roman (Bethel College: Volleyball), Blake Eason (Denison University: Tennis), Kourtney Koc (Benedictine College: Soccer), Danny Joyce (Benedictine College: Football), Stella Jameson (Central Methodist University: Soccer), Brady Friend (Lewis University: Baseball), Sarah Bingham (University of Illinois: Volleyball), Will Brandt (William Jewell College: Baseball). Many of them had already signed their letter of intent earlier this year but was not able to do an official ceremony until Wednesday due to COVID-19 precautions.

Megan Biles

Megan Biles
As her third year on staff, senior Megan Biles is very excited for her last year on this marvelous publication. She is starting her second year as Photo Mentor and her first year as Mobile Media Photo editor. At East, Megan is also involved in STUCO, Student Store, DECA, Track and Field, and is a Pep Exec. Outside of school you can find Megan hanging out with her friends, taking Zumba classes at the local Y, and baking some delicious muffins for her business, Megan’s Munchies. In these very different times Megan is trying to make the most of her Senior year. »

Going into her senior year as a Photo Editor, Rachel cannot be more excited for her final year on Harbinger. When she’s not taking pictures on the sidelines at a game or scrambling for a photostory design, you may find her playing volleyball, throwing in track, at a SHARE project or going on a QuikTrip ice cream run with friends. »

Junior Megan Stopperan is a Head Photo Mentor and going into her second year on staff. She is involved with SHARE, Girls Golf, and Orchestra at East. If you can’t find her at East or taking pictures, she’s probably at the golf course. »

Charlotte Emley

Charlotte Emley
Senior Charlotte Emley is starting her second year on The Harbinger as a staff photographer. When Charlotte isn’t running around shooting events and editing photos, she enjoys hanging out with friends, going to Power Life and is on the Shawnee Mission East swim team. She is very excited to be a senior on staff and see all she accomplishes. »
