Gallery: Shawnee Mission Northwest Quad Meet 

The varsity and JV boys swim team competed in a five team meet hosted by SM Northwest. The Lancers placed first with 217 points, Olathe West High School placed second with 155 points, Piper High School placed third with 80 points, St. Thomas Aquinas placed fourth with 62 points and SM Northwest placed fifth with 21 points. There were two state cuts from seniors Briggs Perry and Luke Sinatra. Perry qualified in the men's 100-yard butterfly with a time of 55.33, and Sinatra qualified in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 49.59. 

The Lancers will have their next meet against 12 schools on Wednesday at Shawnee Mission Aquatic Center at 4:30 p.m.

Starting her third year on staff, junior Molly Scott is thrilled to be an Assistant Photo Editor. When Molly isn’t helping the younger photographers on staff, you can find her in the library grinding on a gallery that’s due the next day. Molly spends the free time she has on Cava and Chipotle runs, when she should probably be working on assignments for Harbinger. When Harbinger gets too overwhelming — which is every day — Molly often goes home and takes a three-hour nap to forget about all of her school problems. »

Ava Towner

Ava Towner
Going into her second year on staff as an assistant photo editor, junior Ava Towner is so excited for this school year. Outside of Harbinger, Ava is involved in tennis and SHARE at East. When Ava is not taking pictures, you can find her hanging out with friends, nannying, walking her dogs, cramming for an AP class, or shopping. »
