Varsity girls soccer defeated Shawnee Mission North West taking the regional title. The girls fought through the rain and finished with the score tied 0-0 at halftime. Senior captain Sydney Herpich scored the first goal , followed by other senior captain Kourtney Koc scoring the second finalizing the 2-0 victory. They will face Blue Valley North West in the quarterfinals on their road to state champions next Tuesday, May 25th at 4 pm.
