Gallery: Mr. Cansas

SM East SHARE executives hosted their annual “Mr. Cansas” competition to collect cans to donate to the Village Food Pantry in the Dan Zollers Auditorium. Over 25 seniors were nominated as contenders, each with a different title, such as “Mr. Football”, or “Mr. DECA.” The show started with a costume competition, followed by rounds of canned-food related interviews. Each senior then performed an act, including stand up comedy, singing, a hot-dog eating competition and more. After the performances and skits, the audience all donated cans to their favorite contender, and whoever collected the most was named “Mr. Cansas.” Senior Parker Pilatzke was third place, Roxas Devine was second, and Charlie Croker was first. Over 1,285 pounds of food was raised for the Food Pantry.
