Gallery: Little Lancer Dancer Clinic

The annual Lancer Dancer Clinic, run by the SM East Lancer Dancers, had 450 attendees ranging from kindergarten to eighth grade participate this year. The clinic lasted from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Oct. 11.Each grade of girls was assigned three to four Lancer Dancers to learn a new routine for the parents to watch at the very end. The varsity and JV Lancer dancers learned unique routines to teach before the clinic, as well as making up chants for each grade. Second grades’ chant was “second grade, second grade, we are the best ,second grade, second grade better than the rest”. In between learning the routines, the younger girls were given pirates booty and water as well as free times to take breaks and play games like Freeze Dance. At the end of the clinic each grade level performed their dances in front of the parents.
