Junior Ainsley Agniel went on multiple serving runs during the JV volleyball game to assist the girls volleyball team in securing their win against the SM West Vikings on Tuesday, Sept. 30. In the first set of the game, the Lancers were consistently up, with their most significant lead being at the end of the set with a score of 25 - 18. Throughout the first set, Agniel went on her first serving run, scoring 3 points, with Junior Annabel Burkhardt also going on a 3 point serving run. Finally, the team won the set on a freeball sent by Sophomore Chloe Rettenmaier. The team continued to keep their lead through the second set with numerous kills by Sophomore Darcy Kroening and Junior Coco Whitefield. In addition, Angiel went on a second serving run to score 5 points. The team ended the second set with a score of 25 - 6
Their next match is scheduled for October 7th against Gardner Edgerton at Shawnee Mission East High School in the Main Gym at 5:30 p.m.
