Gallery: JV Girls Basketball Falls To Blue Valley Northwest 23-26

In the first game of the season, the JV girls basketball team faced BV Northwest. In the first quarter the SM East girls scored only four points and allowed 12 points to BV Northwest. Then the Lancers came back to score 17 points in the third quarter.

"Overall as a team our defense played really well, we kept them to 12 for a while...then, sadly, they came back," freshman Elizabeth Beltrame said. "During the second quarter, Audrey [Rose] and I just walked in and got to work, making steals, and making plays."

The JV girls team will have their next home game on Dec. 17 at 7:30 p.m. against St. James Academy.
