Gallery: JV Football Defeats Olathe South 50-30

In their final game of the season, the JV football team defeated Olathe South Falcons 50-30, on Oct. 29 at the Olathe District Activity Center.

The Lancers scored their first touchdown of the night eight minutes into the first quarter, before going for a two point conversion, which was unsuccessful. A few minutes later, Olathe South fumbled the ball, allowing the Lancers to take possession and score another touchdown. The team then reattempted at a two point conversion and were successful, ending the quarter 14-0.

During the second quarter the Lancers defense held Olathe South to zero points, while the offense went on to score another eight points, making the score 22-0. The score remained 22-0 going into halftime. In the third quarter the Lancers scored two more touchdowns, but were only successful in one of their two point conversion attempts.

The defense held the Falcons to zero points. However, during the fourth quarter, the Falcons scored multiple touchdowns, earning 30 points. The Lancers then scored 14 points for a final score of 50-30, with the Lancers coming out on top.

The team ended the season with a 7-1 record.
