Gallery: JV Football Defeats Olathe South 41-14

In its fourth game of the season, the JV football team defeated the Olathe South Falcons 41-14. The Lancers had possession first, and they drove down the field for the first touchdown of the game on a pass from junior Owen Wantland to sophomore Lucas Keller. The Lancers then converted the two point attempt with a reception by sophomore Rory Capstack. The Lancers went on to score 33 unanswered points, including another touchdown from Keller, giving them a 41 point lead. The Falcons scored two touchdowns in the fourth quarter but could not complete a comeback. 

This win brings the team’s overall record to 3-1, with four games left on its schedule.

The JV football team’s next game is on Monday, Oct. 6 against Lawrence High School at Lawrence High School. The game will start at 6 p.m.
