Gallery: JV Boys Tennis Match vs Shawnee Mission South

In the first JV tennis match of the season, the Shawnee Mission East boys team faced Shawnee Mission South on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at 3:30 pm. This year, the boys tennis team got a new coach, Andrew Gibbs. Sophomore Jet Semrick, a member of the JV tennis team, says, “I think he’s a great coach and he’s taking the program in a really good new direction.” Gibbs’ success can already be seen in the results of this first meet. The SME boys JV tennis team lost only one match to SMS in both the singles and doubles divisions.
