Last Saturday, the boys JV baseball team defeated SM North in first double header of the season, letting in no runs and winning 12-0 and 20-0. The game consisted of a slow start without any scoring for roughly the first 3 innings. As the game began to pick up on speed JV got into their grove with consistent pitching, batting, and fielding. JV kept SM North in a stable position to where they kept getting struck out by several different pitchers or the ball perfectly being caught in outfield. After finishing 7 innings and winning 12-0, the boys warmed up and prepared to play game two. The second game went quicker due to knowing their style of play and being more prepared for the game. The boys immediately started scoring, stealing bases, and Sophomore Luke Hull hit an in the park home run. The second game was cut short due to the run rule with a final score of 20-0.
