The JV and Varsity basketball teams showcased their hard work and progress from the last two weeks of practice to family and friends who were in attendance of the scrimmage on Tuesday, December 2. JV Coach BJ Hair and Varsity Coach Shawn Hair introduced their teams before the scrimmage. The boys were split into two teams, combining both JV and Varsity. They played 3, 8 minute periods against each other and the losing team had to run the same amount of suicide sprints as the number of points they lost by. The first JV game will be on Saturday, December 4 at 12:30 pm against Shawnee Mission South at Home. Shawnee Mission East is hosting the Championship Showdown Basketball tournament starting on Tuesday, December 7 against multiple schools. Games are at 4:30, 6:00, and 7:30.
