Gallery: Gymnastics places 5th at State

The gymnastics team placed 5th overall at the State meet on Saturday. This was the team’s highest team score of the season by over a point. Senior Abby Gorman placed 4th on floor. “I was really excited and happy when I won 4th because I had gotten my highest ever score in high school gymnastics and it was the first time I had ever placed at state,” Gorman said.  “Although we were a bit disappointed in our placement,” senior and co-captain Brooklyn Beck said, “we just had to look at the positives. We scored the highest we had scored all season as a team and all had no fall beam routines so that was something to be proud of.”
