Gallery: Girls Varsity Tennis Invitational

The girls varsity tennis team placed fifth overall at their invitational match on Tuesday, Sept. 24. The team consisted of two doubles teams and two singles players, and they competed against schools from multiple districts such as Blue Valley, Olathe, Lawrence, Shawnee Mission and Lee Summit. Senior Breanna Quigley and sophomore Nell Stechschulte placed seventh in A doubles and junior Catherine Beltrame and freshman Molly McDermed placed second in B doubles. Junior Maile Tormohlen placed fifth in B singles and sophomore Mia Mosher placed 16th in A singles after filling in for senior Ishya Bhavsar.

The varsity team's next match will be on Thursday, Oct. 3. at College Board Activity Center for the all day Sunflower League Tournament starting at 9 a.m.
