Gallery: Girls Varsity Soccer Falls to Olathe Northwest 1-0

With 16 seconds left in the second overtime of the game, Olathe Northwest scored on a free kick to win the game. For the first 80 minutes and the first overtime, neither team scored. Last Thursday, April 23, the lancer girls varsity soccer team fell to Olathe Northwest 1-0 at Shawnee Mission Soccer Complex. The team’s record is now 6-2-0 overall and 4-1-0 in League.

The team’s next game is against Olathe South on Tuesday, April 18 at 7 p.m. at ODAC (Olathe District Athletic Complex).

Now a Photo Mentor, Staff Photographer and Video Producer, Ryan will be able to work on videos with the video crew, as well as shoot big sports games, pep assemblies and more. When Ryan isn’t in the back room of the J room, he is playing football, working out, hanging out with friends or playing soccer. On top of Harbinger, Ryan is a SHARE Exec, Link Crew Leader and he plays varsity football and runs track. »

Sophomore Madi Maupin is starting her first semester with The Harbinger as a photographer and artist. Along with The Harbinger, Madi is involved with STUCO, soccer and is the boys JV soccer manager. In Madi’s free time she enjoys being with her friends and family, playing soccer, going to the lake, driving around with her friends, and working. Madi is so excited for this upcoming semester and the new experiences and memories Madi will create. »
