Gallery: Girls Varsity Lacrosse Defeats St. Teresa’s Academy 16-3

The Shawnee Mission girls varsity lacrosse team started their 2023 season on Wednesday, March 22 with a win against St. Teresa’s Academy. This was their first game of the season, with Shawnee Mission up in all four quarters. Freshman Riley Thomas scored the final goal, putting the team up 10-1 at half. They ended the game 16-3. Girls varsity lacrosse is expected to have 11 more games this season with the next one taking place on Wednesday, March 28 at 7:30 p.m. against St. James Academy.
