The Shawnee Mission Girls were guests at St. James Academy on March 28th for their second game of the season. The SM girls continuously scored throughout the game, holding a strong lead. Starting the second half ahead and with a sunset, the team defeated Thunder 10-1. Junior Ashley Zastrow said, “Any game we play together as a team is always fun because we have so many talented players but sometimes I wish our games would be closer. I love the feeling of winning and especially when we win by 10+ goals, but it can get boring on defense.” The girls next game will be April 3 against Lee Summit West at 7:00 p.m.
