Gallery: Girls Varsity Lacrosse Defeats Park 17-9 on Senior Night

Varsity girls lacrosse held their senior night on Monday, April 29. Prior to their game against Park, the team honored their 11 seniors: Aanya Bansal, Nora Friskel, Kate Kostner, Abby Lee, Abigail Long, Liv Madden, Lauren McGuire, Jordan Pindell, Claire Schudy, Olivia Tuttle, Caroline Reiser and Ashley Zastrow. Team captain Claire Schudy started in goal for the first and last time of the season after being out due to an ACL injury — being approved by her doctor for only her senior night game. The top scorer was senior Abigail Long with six goals, followed by senior Lauren McGuire with four goals.

Girls Lacrosse will play their final home game on Friday, May 3 against against St. Teresa’s. Junior varsity will play at 6:30 p.m. and varsity will play at 7:30 p.m. Both games will be at Westridge Middle School.

Besides Harbinger, Alex runs cross country and track, takes AP classes and works part time. Junior Will Griffith is starting his third year as a photographer on staff as an assistant photo editor. When he's not scrambling to edit photos or check galleries, he is most likely on the soccer field in goal or the football field kicking and punting. Will loves spending his Saturday mornings watching premier league games and then watching college football the rest of the day. Will is excited to start the new challenge of an assistant photo editor and ready for the new role. »
