Gallery: Girls Varsity Basketball Jamboree

SM East hosted its first annual Jamboree against SM North, Blue Valley Southwest and De Soto on Tuesday, Nov. 28 to replace their annual Blue and Black scrimmage. Each game had two 4-minute halves. The Lancers fell to SM North 9-7 in their first game. In the second game, SM East defeated Blue Valley Southwest 14-8. The Lancers defeated De Soto 20-17 in their last game. After the eight minute game against De Soto, the teams participated in several situational scenarios to play out the final seconds of a close game.

The first girls varsity basketball game of the season will be played on Monday Dec. 4 at 7 p.m. against Pembroke Hill at Pembroke Hill High School.
