Gallery: Girls Varsity Basketball Falls to Mill Valley 44-38

The girls varsity basketball team fell 44-38 to Mill Valley on Feb. 14. Through the game during the first quarter, the Lancers kept even with Mill Valley and were tied 12-12 by the end of the quarter. At the end of halftime the Lancers were just one point behind the Jaguars with a score of 20-19. The SM East cheer team also did a five minute performance at halftime. At the end of the third quarter, the Lancers trailed behind the Jaguars with a close score of 31-29. The last few minutes of the game were very close in score. Junior Fina Kessler made one final layup to try and beat the Jaguars, but it wasn’t enough as the Lancers fell to the Jaguars. Making their record now 7-10.

The Lancers’ next game is at home on Feb. 21 at 4 p.m. against SM West.
