The girls varsity basketball team defeated Shawnee Mission South 40-29 on Thursday, Feb. 27. The majority of the game was close until the 4th quarter when Shawnee Mission East took a definitive lead. The game was a pink-out, raising awareness for cancer and supporting the search for a cure.
