On Saturday, March 29 girls varsity and JV competed in a district-wide meet. Junior Georgia Boyd placed first in the 200 freestyle swimming 2:09.00. Junior Natalie Jones swam 58.04 in the 100 freestyle, placing first. Freshman Zoey Allen placed fourth in the one-meter diving and qualified for state. Senior Emmy Barrett swam 1:01.14 in the 100 backstroke, placing first. The lancers placed first, scoring 620 points. SM Northwest followed, placing second and scoring 320 points
Girls swim and dive has their next meet on Tuesday, April 1 at 3 p.m. against BV West at Shawnee Mission Aquatic Center.
