Junior Vada Walsh earned a state cut in the 200 individual medley and a consideration in the 100 butterfly. The meet stopped in between the 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly to honor 16 swim and dive seniors, Brynn Bettenhausen, Georgia Boyd, Clara Brenneman, Keilani Castillo, Alejandra Ceron Madrigal, Sarah Devkota, Abby Hunt, Izzy Hunter, Natalie Jones, Lila Kimmel, Kristen Meredith, Sloan Meyer, Jordan O’Brien, Isabella Penke, Grace Rayfield, and Sarah Stein. The Lancers placed first in nine of 12 events, ultimately leading them to defeat SM South.
Girls swim and dive's next meet will be the Sunflower League meet starting on Thursday, May 7 at the Shawnee Mission Aquatic Center.
