Gallery: Girls Soccer Defeats Mill Valley 1-0

On Friday April 28, the girls Varsity soccer team defeated Mill Valley 1-0 and secured the number one spot in their league. Both teams did not score in the first half, but with two minutes left in the second half, the Lancers were able to put one in the net. The only goal of the game was scored by senior Ashley Koch with an assist from freshman Kate Lucas at the end of the second half. The team now has a record of 10-2-0 overall this season and 8-1-0 in Sunflower League.

The girls soccer team next plays on Tuesday, May 2 against Olathe East at the Shawnee Mission Soccer Complex at 7:00 p.m.
