Gallery: Girls JV Soccer Falls to Olathe Northwest 1-0

The girls junior varsity soccer team fell to Olathe Northwest 1-0 on Thursday, April 28. The Lancers started the game off strong, putting up a constant battle for the ball. For the first thirty-five minutes of the half, the game was tied 0-0. Right before halftime, with five minutes left, Olathe Northwest scored a goal. The Lancers regrouped at half. The girls played a very strong second half, but could not manage to score. Sophomore Autumn Sun says, “It was a hard fought game, and in my opinion we outplayed them, but the score did not reflect our performance.” The team was on a 4-0 winning streak, but unfortunately couldn’t pull through in the second half.

The girls junior varsity record now stands at 7-5. The next time these girls play is Tuesday, May 3 at Shawnee Mission Soccer Complex.
