Gallery: Girls JV Soccer Defeats SM South 3-0

The girls JV soccer team defeated SM South 3-0 on Tuesday, April 15. Five minutes into the first half, freshman Violet Casey scored a goal with an assist from sophomore Anastasia Flower. Freshman Audrey Rose scored the second goal and was assisted with a pass by freshman Violet Casey. The third and final goal of the game was scored by junior Grace Thibault and assisted by sophomore Maya Monyakula. Goalkeepers freshman Landry Duchene and junior Stella Beaver kept a clean sheet and contributed to their team’s second shutout of the season.

The girls JV soccer team has their next game on Thursday, April 17 at 5 p.m. against Olathe Northwest at the Shawnee Mission Athletic Complex.

When Molly isn’t helping the younger photographers on staff, you can find her in the library grinding on a gallery that’s due the next day. Molly spends the free time she has on Cava and Chipotle runs, when she should probably be working on assignments for Harbinger. When Harbinger gets too overwhelming — which is every day — Molly often goes home and takes a three-hour nap to forget about all of her school problems. »
