Gallery: Girls JV Basketball falls to Saint Thomas Aquinas 34-27

Girls JV basketball hosted St. Thomas Aquinas on Wednesday, Jan. 25. At the end of the first quarter, the Lancers were down 10-6. The team failed to bring the score back up at the end of the first half, and the Lancers were down 18-9 at halftime. The Lancers continued to trail behind St. Thomas Aquinas in the third quarter, with the score being 32-14. The Lancers outscored St. Thomas Aquinas 14-2 in the fourth quarter but fell short by 7 points. Sophomore Naomi Kincaid was the leading scorer with a total of eight points, two 3-pointers and one 2-point shot. The team’s record is now 2-8.

The team is scheduled to play their next away game hosted by Olathe North on Friday, Feb. 3 at 4 p.m.

Mason Sajna
As a fourth year harbinger staffer, senior Mason Sajna is excited to be a leader on staff this year as a Video Editor, Photo Mentor and Equipment Manager. When he isn’t in the J room editing a video or trying to find some tripod piece, Mason is running as a varsity track and cross country runner and is in five AP classes. When things finally slow down, Mason likes to spend his free time with his friends or just hang out at home. »
