Gallery: Girls JV Basketball defeats Olathe South 37-29

Girls jv basketball hosted Olathe South on Tuesday, Jan. 14. The Lancers trailed behind the Falcons 10-7 at the end of the first quarter. In the second quarter, the Lancers were unable to score against the Olathe South defense. At halftime, the Lancers were down 19-7. At the end of the third quarter, the Lancers were down by a score 24-23. During the 4th quarter, the Lancers scored an additional 14 points, winning the game 37-29. East made a total of fourteen two-point shots, one three-pointer, made by junior Talia Augustine, and six free throws.

Going into her second year on staff, Junior Annie Trenkle is a photographer for the Harbinger. Outside of taking photos she is a part of the IB program and her favorite class in school is AP Physics. Annie’s outside of school activities include soccer, tennis, and basketball. She is also the chair of Harvesters Give Lunch and Wayside Waifs SHARE organizations. Sophomore Lila Elwood is excited for her first semester on Harbinger as a staff photographer. She is eager to learn and to start her photography journey. Aside from Harbinger, Lila is also a part of the dance team at East. When Lila is not at school you can find her at her dance studio or hanging out with friends and family. »
