Gallery: Girls Freshman Basketball Defeats SM Northwest 37-28

The girls freshman basketball team defeated SM Northwest on Thursday, Jan. 16. In the first quarter the Lancers led the Cougars 4-2. In the second quarter the Lancers scored eight more points, and still had a lead on the Cougars with the score 12-9. At the end of the third quarter the score was 25-21. The Lancers scored another 12 points in the fourth quarter, winning the game against the Cougars with a score of 37-28. Freshmen Abby Coleman and Lauren Carr both scored eight points, which made them the highest scorers of the game.

The Lancers' next game will be at East on Thursday, Jan. 23 at 5:30 p.m. against BV North.
