Gallery: Girls C Team Soccer ties Olathe West 1-1

The girls C soccer team tied the Olathe West Owls 1-1 on Monday, April 21. Twenty minutes into the first half, freshman Sadie Jolicoeur scored the first and only goal for the Lancers, assisted by freshman Campbell McKee. In the second half, freshman Sadie Algren took a shot on goal, but an Owls defender blocked it with a handball, earning a yellow card. Overall, the Lancers attempted 13 shots, with only one resulting in a goal.

The girls C team has five games in the next week. Their next match is against Lee's Summit West on April 23 at 5 p.m. at the Shawnee Mission Soccer Complex.
