In their first game of the season on Monday, Dec. 6, 2021, girls c team basketball lost to Bishop Miege 28-26. Miege is an ongoing basketball school and the team was able to keep the game close. At the end of the first half, the Lancers were down 15-8 and each team had ten fouls. In the third quarter, they were able to run their offense better to score and finished the quarter 20-18. They kept the game close but unfortunately were unable to take the lead in the end. The team has been working on flexibility in plays and free throws in practice to improve in future games. Sophomore post Sydney Fernandez said, “Miege is probably one of the hardest teams we’re going to play so we realized that we’re pretty good this year and there’s just a few things we need to work on to be a really good team.” Their next game is on Wednesday, Dec. 8 at Blue Valley North.

Going into her senior year as a Photo Editor, Rachel cannot be more excited for her final year on Harbinger. When she’s not taking pictures on the sidelines at a game or scrambling for a photostory design, you may find her playing volleyball, throwing in track, at a SHARE project or going on a QuikTrip ice cream run with friends. »
