The Lancer girls c-team basketball hosted SM South on Tuesday, Jan. 21. The game started off close, with the first quarter ending in a tie at 12 points for each team. The Lancers then pulled ahead the second quarter, they only allowed the Raiders to score three points, making the score at halftime 24-15. The Lancers kept this going, they only allowed the Raiders to score a total of 10 points in the second half while scoring 21. The game ended with the Lancers defeating the Raiders 45-25, freshman Sophia Cicero led the Lancers in scoring with 11 points. The team's record now sits at 7-2.
The Lancers' next game will be at St. James Academy on Wednesday, Jan. 29 at 7:30 p.m. against St. James.
