Gallery: Girls C Team Basketball Defeats Gardner Edgerton 56-23

The girls C team defeated the Gardner Edgerton Blazers on Jan. 20. The Lancers started off the first half by scoring 21 points, with the most points scored by sophomore Sophia Cicero scoring seven points. The Lancers kept up their lead, ending the first half 36-14 with no timeouts used. After multiple personal fouls and timeouts by both teams in the third quarter, the Lancers held onto their lead with a score of 52-23. During the fourth quarter, the Lancers scored an additional four points by sophomores Landry Duchene and Harper Pendleton. The Lancers prevented Gardner from scoring any further goals, finishing the game with a score of 56-23. Sophomores Sophie Peterson and Cicero tied for the most points throughout the game. 

The Lancers will play their next game against multiple schools on Jan. 21 at SM East at 5:30 p.m.
