The SM-East Lancers Girls C-Team split their game with the girls Freshmen team because the Freshman team didn’t have a scheduled game for the week Freshman Jorja Schnurr, a usual Freshman-Team player starts the game off strong by scoring in the first few minutes of the game. The Lancers took a big lead in the first quarter and SM-North only scored once, making the score 10-2 at the end of the first half. The freshman team plays the second half and keeps the lead, ending the first half of the game at 12-6. In the third quarter there was a mix of Freshman Team and C-Team players, and Sophomore Lauren Carr started the quarter off by making two free throws after she was fouled two minutes in. The quarter ends with a score of 32-7. The Lancers finish strong by scoring eleven points in the last quarter, ending the game 43-11.
The Lancers next game will face Olathe South on Tues. Jan 13 at Olathe South.
