Gallery: Freshman Girls Volleyball defeats Olathe South 2-0

Winning in a two-set sweep, the freshman girls’ volleyball team defeated Olathe South 2-0 on Thursday, Oct. 3. The Lancers led for the majority of the first set, winning with a 12-point lead and a final score of 25-13. The team then started the second set with a 4-point serving run by freshman Ella Wilkens, who acts as the team’s setter. Followed by another 5-point run by freshman Skylar Wilson. The team then finished off the game with a 25-16 win in the second set.

The team’s next away game is a dual against Gardner Edgerton on Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 5:30 p.m. at Gardner Edgerton.
