Gallery: Cross Country State Meet at Rim Rock Farm

After returning from a previous first place win at state the year before for the boys and second place for the girls, the cross country team competed in their State Meet at Rim Rock Farm on Saturday, Oct. 28. The boys placed ninth overall with a team score of 119 points and the girls came in third place with a team score of 103 points, making the podium. East had two girl runners who placed in the top 20, senior Lida Padgett and freshman Charlotte Hardy. Padgett came in eighth place with a time of 18:51.8 and Hardy came in 15th place with a time of 19:22.9. This race concludes their season with many of the runners now preparing for races during the winter season and the upcoming track season.

When he isn’t in the J room editing a video or trying to find some tripod piece, Mason is running as a varsity track and cross country runner and is in five AP classes. When things finally slow down, Mason likes to spend his free time with his friends or just hang out at home. »
