Gallery: Cross Country Meet at Haskell Indian Nation University

On Saturday, the Cross Country team headed down to Haskell Indian University in Lawrence, Kansas for their regional meet, the last before state. A disappointing end for the girls’ season came after missing their chance to qualify for state. On the upside, the boys’ race was a photo-finish thriller. Senior Lance Meng placed first for East with a time of 16:31:33 and junior John Arnspiger was beat by less than a thousandth of a second by Brock Mitchell of SMS. Arnspiger and the boys’ team were named Runner-Up Regional Champions losing by only one point to the Shawnee Mission North Indians. The State Championship will be held at Rim Rock Farm in Lawrence, Kansas this Saturday.
