Gallery: Boys Varsity Wrestling at Regionals

Boys varsity wrestling competed for state qualifications at the 6A East Regional Tournament on Feb. 21 and Feb. 22. On the first day, wrestlers completed quarter finals and semifinals. All wrestlers competing on day two had seeded high enough to earn their place in the state tournament. 

Four wrestlers qualified to compete in the state tournament on Feb. 28 through March 1: freshman Rehan Zahid placed eighth in the 106-pound weight class. Senior Grey Robinson placed sixth in the 138-pound weight class. Junior John Gagen placed third in the 157-pound weight class. Junior Noah Jewell placed sixth in the 165-pound weight class. They will join the girls varsity wrestlers at the state tournament.

When she is not taking photos she likes to hang out with friends, play tennis, babysit, and relax with her family and dogs.
