Gallery: Boys Varsity Swim and Dive Wins SM Northwest Invite

Boys varsity swim and dive competed in the SM Northwest invite on Thursday, Jan. 26. The team competed against SM Northwest and St. James Academy, with the Lancers taking first place with 186 points. The individual winners included junior Colin Crosby in both the 100 and 200 free, sophomore Jack McClelland in the 50 free, and junior Braydon Roberts in dive. The following swimmers got state consideration times at the meet.

  • Senior Coleman Stephens – 200 free
  • Sophomore Cooper Kearns – 200 free
  • Sophomore Zane Laing – 50 free
  • Junior Connor Bykowski – 50 free

As a fourth year harbinger staffer, senior Mason Sajna is excited to be a leader on staff this year as a Video Editor, Photo Mentor and Equipment Manager. When he isn’t in the J room editing a video or trying to find some tripod piece, Mason is running as a varsity track and cross country runner and is in five AP classes. When things finally slow down, Mason likes to spend his free time with his friends or just hang out at home. »

Senior Amelie Wong is entering her third and final year on staff as Harbinger’s first ever head online photo editor. Though she is still trying to figure out all of the responsibilities for her new role, she is so excited to see what new challenges this year brings. When Amelie is not in the J-room you can probably find her at Target buying more Red Bull or Starbucks getting her third coffee of the day. »

Clara Peters
Senior Clara Peters is so excited for her fourth year on the Harbinger staff as a Head Print Photo Editor. When she’s not editing photos, designing photostories, or holding her camera, you’ll find her hanging out with friends, walking her dogs or listening to music. Outside of Harbinger, she holds the roles of a SHARE Exec and Link Leader. Peters can’t wait to lead this year’s photography staff with the other editors! »
