The boys varsity soccer team defeated the Shawnee Mission South Raiders on Tuesday, October 2. The game was scoreless for the first half, but about halfway through the second half Senior Eren Eksinar scored. SM South came back a few minutes later to tie the game 1-1. At the end of regular time, the game went into a twenty-minute “golden goal” overtime. Senior Conor O’Toole scored the winning goal after just a couple minutes, and the game ended with a final score of 2-1 for East.
